Lately I’ve been really interested in portrait and strobist (using multiple off camera flashes) photography. Duke, my cavalier king charles spaniel, has made a very good model.
Hopefully soon, I can find some human models.

Meghan and I took a vacation to Washington DC from October 9th to 12th. You can view all of the pictures in the album, but here are a few of my favorites.
My buddy Daniel Glaser built me one of his DGO bags for my trip to DC. It was a super stealth messenger style bag that held my camera, 3 lenses plus more.

Recently, I’ve been in a bit of a photo slump, and have not posted to many real photos on the site. This week I forced myself to go out and just shoot whatever came to me. I found myself shooting a lot of leaves. Currently, the colors are spectacular. I really love this time of year when the temperature and leaves fall.
Its just now starting to cool off down in the south and the leaves are starting to change.
