T.S. Fay
Tropical Storm Fay decided to pay us a visit. It was just a big rain maker.
I didn’t take any great pictures, because I had to use our waterproof Olympus 720SW and not my dSLR. But I wanted to show how much the water has risen just today.
I took this shot Thursday evening. It is at a large retention pond near my complex. Notice how far the water line is from the trees on the small peninsula where the geese are.
Here is where the water came to those same trees after flooding from Fay.
Here you can see the right side of the retention pond. Prior to Fay, the brush on the left was where the water line was located. You could walk on dry land anywhere to the right of those bushes.
